Richard O. Gray, Jr. concentrates his practice in the areas of intellectual property counseling, U.S. and international patent prosecution, infringement and validity opinions, and litigation. In addition to having represented large established corporate clients, Mr. Gray also has had particular experience in small startup company representation from initial non-infringing product definition to intellectual property portfolio creation and management. Mr. Gray holds a B.S.E.E. degree from Purdue University and a J.D. degree from Loyola University School of Law in Chicago. Mr. Gray’s technical experience encompasses both mechanical and electrical fields including conveyor belt assembly components, hydraulic valves and systems, clock mechanisms, radio communication systems, semiconductor processes, materials and devices, and cardiac rhythm manage-ment devices including implantable pace-makers and defibrillators. He is admitted to practice in Illinois and Washington, and before the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court.
